Hmm - seems that http://support.auctionsniper.com/ is down although I would say it was 'as usualL'...

No idea what your problem is - please try again but add in some punctuation so that your fellow users can have a go at helping you.

Well, it's not just me. I'm incredulous that you cannot get basic errors concerning your Auction Sniper account fixed, not to mention a response from support concerning the fact that their account software is screwed up and returns jibberish in blanks where you have placed updated information. How in the world do you communicate with Auction Sniper folks or did eBay buy the enterprise and lay everyone off?

Hey Elmer, the link's working so I guess it's better now. AS is a pretty basic package so it doesn't need 24/7 support staff for technical probs - they seem to spend their time hand holding newbies who cannot be bothered to read the FAQs etc. Sadly this is reflected occasionally in their responses to real problems - you have to fight to get a non-stock response from the guys.

eBay's no better. I complained about a seller asking for a PayPal surcharge (illegal in UK) and they asked to see a copy of the email. I explained that there wasn't one and they apologised for the seller over-charging for postage but said it was out of their control. I asked for my original complaint to be read by a human rather than a robot and it all went quiet... Good stuff! Wink
