Just won my second ebay auction w/Action Sniper & it worked flawlessly. A brilliant concept & excellent tool for any ebay user.....can't believe I've gone as long as I have without it! THANKS!
Hey Puppy, if your lurking about I have a question. When I click on "New since your last visit" it brings up over a hundred posts. But only a few are actually new. You helped me with this once before but I can't find that post. Thanks in advance!
I don't delete cookies for that very reason - instead I use Lavasoft's Ad Aware to get rid of dodgy cookies and leave all the good ones behind. [_ here _]
I use that also, although it's the free version. Would it be advantageous to upgrade from the free version. I don't understand these programs and when you have a question sometimes it's $20-$30 for an answer I don't understand.
For $40 you get a real-time version of Ad-Aware - I reckon it's a good idea but not worth the money. If you have Zone Alarm (or a.n.other Firewall) then you'll be told when something fishy is going on. Run Adaware weekly and all should be well (remember to upload a new signature file before running it).
Rick, I also don't see the point of multiple welcomes - it's a forum not a dinner party. As bad (if not worse) is the I don't know the answer but someone will posts.
Oh well, R2, we just can't please everyone all the time...maybe it is your Service background? Guess we'll just have to tolerate each other...which I don't find so terribly awful!
Trouble and the Grace to bear it, come in the same package.

I’d say that it’s worse. Fortunately only one person will leave that.
All this welcoming would probably appeal to needy and lonely people. A serious sniper would probably be more interested in how to use this service than on getting all these welcomes, and the usual number of welcomes would tend to cause them to avoid the forum. All these welcomes remind me of a Tupperware Party or the old Pyramid Parties. The welcome included in the post that addresses the OP’s issue(s) is harmless, and might even be encouraged. But unfortunately there’s only the one pubescent canine cultivator that follows this approach. The rest of the incessant welcomes fall into the personal-ads category.

And, we care what you think because....???
I'm just a (patched up) Raggedy Ann in a Barbie doll world!
