I recently had several bids on different items. I was actively watching them and bidding at the last possible moment. I decided to set up one of my free snipes for one of the items even though I was sitting there watching the auction occur and constantly refreshing the screen.

With 2 min 23seconds left to go on one item, my pregnant wife began hollering to me to come help her in the bathroom (she was having a bout with some 'morning sickness'. Of course this lasted longer than the 2 min 23 seconds.

Thankfully, my AuctionSnipe bid won the item with only 3 seconds left to spare, which, otherwise, I would have lost the auction.
