For most of my snipes, AS is now showing the shipping amount. Cool Cool I don't need to use the comment to record the shipping amount.

on My Snipes, just under the ending time. I think it only works for auctions w/ fixed price shipping.

Hmm. Maybe the programming isn't complete. I just checked mine, and one snipe is missing it as well. But it is also a fixed s/h price, listed in the usual place (not in the middle of the auction listing).

(edit)
There's no such thing as a bug-free program or system.

  • Every program has at least one bug
  • Every program has at least one instruction that can be removed to speed it up

=> Therefore, every program can be reduced to a smaller one that still contains bugs.

=> Therefore, every program can be reduced to a single instruction that doesn't work!

I think it depends on how and where in the auction listing the seller has placed the shipping cost. I suspect those whose shipping charges appear in the bottom section (as opposed to the text in the middle, describing the item) cause them to appear in the AS box. Wink

Chatter,

Except that for the one I have that is missing, it is also listed in the bottom section (Shipping and payment details) and not in the middle of the auction. What's different about that one? Confused

I even did an Update Prices in AS to see if that would work. It didn't. But after cancelling and re-adding the snipe, the shipping price showed up.

It looks like it only tries to capture the s/h amount when the snipe is placed (or perhaps when updated as well - didn't test that).

Mine is listed both places. Maybe it is on things that have just been sniped. Mine has been on for 3 days.

Try updating your snipe and see if that will load the s/h. I know that New snipes will load the s/h from the cancel-resnipe test I did above.

No, I tried that. If you canceled and then resniped, then it is doing it on new snipes.

Open a new window and go to the auction site. Cancel the snipe in My snipes and then, in the new window, snipe it again at the auction site.
