Sniper In Training
Posted
Hello,

I want to bid on two items that finish at the same time and want to ensure I only win one. Now I could just pick one and go for it but maybe that one will go over my maximum price hours before the auction ends but the second one will stay below. If I put both bids in a group will snipe be clever enough to pick one for me based on the price at snipe time?

I.e. my max is $10 on both items. At snipe time item A is already at $12 so skip that one. Item B is at $3 so snipe on that one.

I realise that if I am outbid in the closing seconds there is nothing I can do about it, there will be no time to try the second item.

Sorry if I explain this badly. I think it's quite complicated?

Cheers,
Jim

No can do - AS needs time to realise whether it won or lost before placing (or not) the 2nd bid. No easy answer I'm afraid...
