I currently have two snipes going. On both items, the "current price" listed here by AuctionSniper is outdated and much lower than the actual current price.

These auctions don't end for a few days, but still, should I be worried by this? It seems to suggest something could go awry when sniping time comes.

AS only checks prices infrequently so the My Snipes is often out-of-date. Click on the Update prices button for an instant update.

As to being worried, there's no need. AS will just place your snipe as if it was you for the full amount at the end of the auction.

Whilst you're waiting have a read of the FAQs etc on the Help tab and read up on ebay's proxy bidding - all very interesting stuff to us snipers...

If the “My Snipes” page had to check the current price of each auction, the response time, obviously depending on the number of active snipes, could be quite lengthy. Thus the “Update Prices” button allows the user to control when to take the hit.

And, as far as using the “My Snipes” page for watching the auctions (should someone be thinking about that), I’m of the opinion that “My eBay” is the best way to go.
