I have been using Auctionsniper for years now with great success, but only on auctions on the main USA Ebay site. I would like to place a snipe on Ebay Germany but when I input the item number I get "Auction not found". I thought that AS could be used for the German site? Is this not the case?

In the FAQ it says that Germans may not snipe Ebay Germany, but it doesn't say that it is prevented, and it doesn't say that people from other countries may not snipe Ebay Germany. Also, by using auction sniper I can place a bid in a non-sniping manner. Therefore it should be allowable for me to place a bid this way.

It didn't occur to me that it might be a technical support issue. I'll follow it up via that route.

Interesting - before I placed a trouble ticket to technical support I thought I would try it again, and it worked!

It is apparently an intermittent problem.

I've sniped quite a few items from eBay Germany without any problems at all. Glad to hear you finally got it working.

Forgot to say that I nearly always use Import Wizard after putting the item in my eBay watched list. Don't know whether that makes a difference or not.
