Hello: I just read about a buyer worrid about having Auction Sniper bid the entire amount of her snipe bid. Adam R. of Auction Sniper replied that auction sniper bids in $1.00 increments. My question is: If the high bidder has a proxy of say $10.00-- then bidding in $1.00 increments will not snipe a win if the bid starts 5 seconds before aution ends. How does Auction Sniper speed up the bids?

If anyone knows about this--I'd appreciate some feedback

Auction Sniper behaves the same way a person would when manually sniping an item. When we send eBay your bid, we send your maximum bid. eBay then determines what the next highest bid will be based on your maximum bid and the maximum bid of the current high bidder.

For example, if the current high bidder set a max bid of $10.00 for an item, and you snipe $25.00, the current price of the item will become $11.00 because $11.00 was the next minimum bid above $10.00. eBay will also proxy bid for you up to your maximum of $25.00. Depending on the price of the auction, the increment may be more than $1.00.

So what happens when two or more bidders are using AuctionSniper? Or when two have set the same high bid? Does the AuctionSniper open an early bid when there is a Reserve and a Buy-It-Now, to ensure that the auction goes full-term?
