..and I ended up here. AS doesnt seem to be a bad system, and seems to be very user friendly, but I am still trying to determine if it will suit my needs.

I read the TOS pages, and I have also spent several hours browsing the forums, but I still am left with unanswered questions, mostly due to contradiction on what the website selling points are and what actually happens.

I have no problem paying for what I want in a snipe program, but I feel that it is a reasonable expectation I should get great service and the program to be flawless in terms of function and dependability if I am paying for it.

Snipe programs mean different things to different people. Here are my top three priorities:

~I can set the exact time of bidding, and it happens all the time, every time.

~Dependable servers that arent burdened by peak usage times or are down without prior notice.

~Ability to bid on multiple items at once, typically up to 50.

Can Auction Sniper satisfy my needs?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Rick, thanks for your candid reply. I can see your efforts here do much to keep people informed. You are probably appreciated more than you realize.

I saw the thread about listing 100 items, but with all the other benefits touted by the website that seem to be incongruous with actual real time performance I wanted to be sure.

Anyway, I am not here to flame this site, it seems to have as many fans as it does detractors. I guess the search goes on.

Thanks again.

Oh dear R**k, what did you say that frightened him off! (don't answer - I won't see it!)

“No.”, then “No.”, which was followed by “Yes.”

The secret of good comedy is... timing.
I guess the fact that R**k seems to constantly reply twice to my emails would imply that he starts off with the knee-jerk (no pun intended) response then, as the cogs slowly grind away, a more amusing put-down. Either way, I'll not see them so here's hoping that they're keeping the rest of you amused.

I can only comment that this thread (& probably the message boards) is in the process of going Upton*

You are in danger of frightening the paying customers if this keeps up!

That took some working out Paul!

Upton Park

Moderately crazy. Upton Park is an Underground station on the District Line and it is *two stops short of Barking*.

Even then you need to know the expression "barking mad".

"You wanna watch out with that girl, she's Upton Park."

Classic Cockney Rhyming Slang!

I suspect that there are many, many more fans of AS than detractors; most of us just get on with our sniping and do not say much. I have around 450 or so snipes; maybe two did not get placed properly, the rest of my "losses" (50 or so) were due to my not placing a high enough snipe amount.
