I am a newbie and I using Auction snipe for the first time. I am trying to bid on an item whose increment was 10 USD before but suprisingly it has increased now to 10 USD. Is it normal?
My second question is, the auction is soon to be ended and the price is now 420 USD and the minimum winning bid is 440 USD. My budget is 445 USD. Now please advise me as to what should be the winning bid price and the lead time for Auction snipe (presuming my contestants are also using snipping or proxy bidding)?

That is unusual as increments in USD should be $5.00 for items between $250.00 and $499.00, you can see the list here http://www.auctionsniper.com/faqebay.aspx#ebay5.

I would suggest entering the maximum amount you're willing to pay, every time you add a snipe, to maximize your chances of winning.

Will you provide the item number of the item you're bidding on please?
