I just went for conservatory (kit) which if i could have got for less than £400 id have save an absolute fortune.

I put a bid in at £320 directly to ebay and then i thought.. ill give sniper a try and i put my max bid in sniper at £375.

I sat and watch it tick down and whooped for joy when i saw the end bid was only £330, it had to be mine right?

No. i couldn't understand it.

the listing said Invalid UserId/Pass

Devastated, i told my wife who said, "you can never trust it again"
but id like to. I have been to the " Modify Account" page and the account name is correct. i cant see if the pass was right because it doesnt show, so i typed it in twice. went to ebay to make sure it was correct, came back and ask for my watches to be imported.
It says, none to import... there are loads!

this leads me to think there is a problem and my wife is correct, it can not be trusted to make an important bid.

Is there no way to test that sniper and ebay are actually tuned into each other?

thanks for the responses. I do get the report :
Your account has been verified and all snipes will be properly placed.

but the watches still do not import.

so i have changed my password to a mixture of letters and numbers.

still the same?

i could try sniping a small item to see if it is working, but the "no watching thing is a worry"

My neighbor (he sent me the link for sniper) popped around and checked his account and the watches were imported. so i cant see it being related to i.e or Firefox versions.
