Hoping you all can help. I am a seller on ebay but recently registered a buying ID. How can I use this ID with my current auction sniper account? If I try to log in to auction sniper with my other ID and password it wont let me. Thanks in advance.

Can't have multiple ebay ID's on the same AS account.

You need to create a second AuctionSniper account. One for each eBay userId.

AS is a no brainer - it logs in as you and bids as if it was you. I can see no advantage for you to have more than one buying account unless you're up to no good...?

And thank you to Rick, thats exactly right. I know a LOT of sellers who have a selling account and also a buying account ONLY for buying. In case I have a problem with a seller on my buying account then I dont have to jeopardize my selling account, plus in case I want to buy to re-sell, I wouldnt want to do that on my selling account. There are MANY reasons to have 2 accounts. Does not mean you are 'up to no good'

I have another question. Is it possible to transfer my balance from one AS to another? As I dont want to use AS with my selling account anymore. Thanks in advance.

Holy cow these people are fantastic! They already transferred it for me.

The few times I’ve used them, I’ve always found the support staff helpful. Of course, I’ve not contacted them NEARLY as much as R2, but then that's the hardest part of their job.

Is that Tab still not fixed Rick? Hopefully they'll get the message if you keep mentioning it EVERY time you post!!!!

I’m a step ahead of you. I figured if I saw it as much as you do, perhaps it would also become a “pet hate” (if “Forum” instead of “Community” can solicit the emotional response of hatred, can you imagine how R2 feels about something that’s not trivial?) for myself.

Say, just how many support requests have you filed? 100? 500? 1000?

Is it true that you have more communications with AS support than you do with your girl friend?

One other question: do you see your “old support calls” page so much because you file so many of them, or because you love to monitor them?

I read a few - I've had a few run-ins with front-line staff who will often (apparently) trot out standard paragraphs rather than think up a real answer. They're all closed as AS staff have responded fully and only closed them when I was completely satisfied. Not!

Remember Rick, those calls were spread over 5 years (no calls logged in 2008 so far) so some of the bugs were fixed/resolved in that time such as the photo bug. It was only when comparing with ebay searches that I realised (I guess you guys want a Z in that word!) that they were fundamentally wrong!
And it took AS some time to realise why my free snipes were failing - I now have total recall of the story thanks to Rick's thorough research...

Yes, it never dawned on them that someone would be so blatant about trying to get double free referral snipes. But, at least after that experience, they did remove that plan, and paid you, and gave you free snipes. But, don’t let something as minor as that stand in your way.

It’s my understanding that any AS support person that can provide support for R2 for a month without complaint, or complaining, automatically becomes a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize. Unfortunately, none of them (he’s gone through 65 of them) have been able to last a day.







P.S. I can think of more than one person, besides the two of us, that’s enjoying our exchanges. Maybe even R2’s G/F.
