The thread discussing security/privacy seems to have "miraculously" disappeared.

I'd still like to know about what information the site might trade and/or sell.
How secure IS my Ebay password and user name?

I can ensure you that your information is very secure on our site. All of the information, including eBay username and passwords, is stored on a secure database inacessable from the Internet.
