Will auction sniper bid by the correct bid increments or does it just top it off by 1 cent? I noted on certain bids that topping a bid off by one cent in certain circumstances was enough to win an auction.

Here is an example of an auction i took part in recently without using sniping tools and i noted that the winner was probably a sniper - what confuses me is sometimes the autobidding will got up by eg 1 dollar 50 and other times 5 dollars. Is this because each individuals bid increment has to go up by e.g. 5 dollars at a time?

I also note that there appears to be time delay glitches - if you look at Bidder 7 below he presents 250 dollars above me in the list although he has autobid earlier in the day

Neither. It places one bid/snipe for the amount you enter. Ebay handles any proxy bid or increment requirements.

No way for AS to know what amount to top off, as the current high bidder might well have a much higher hidden proxy bid.

OK lets say that the previous bid to my 250 is only 190 and i was keeping 250 as my highest possible bid on auctionsniper, when AS places that bid for 250 will that be the final bid on ebay or will ebay automatically understand that as 200 (e.g. the next increment above 190)

Yes to both. 250 will be your proxy bid and ebay will set the closing price at 200.

If it's the U.S., the increment for 190 is 2.50, but that's because I recently sharpen my hair-splitter.
