I cannot log into auction sniper except on the odd occasion now. When i can I cannot add snipes or modify the existing ones. Support told me to delete my cookies and files but this has not helped. I now cannot reply to their support e-mail as I cant login. I have tried from a second pc I have at home with the same result. If I use another pc say in an internet cafe or my friends pc I have no problems whatsoever. Is it my service provider who is blocking this site. I have not had this problem before and everything has worked fine until about 2-3 weeks ago. Can anyone help me please. I dont want to have to go to another pc to place my snipes.

Duke,

The dialog between Hunter.Bob and AS support might prove helpful:

Hi Duke,

We are currently dealing with at least one other customer that is experiencing the similar behavior to what you have described, and our IT team will be looking into the possibility that something on our end may be causing this. Can you please run a ping command to AuctionSniper.com and then paste the results into a reply to this thread? You can run this command by doing the following:

1) Select "Run" from the Windows "Start" menu.
2) Enter "cmd" in the ensuing field and click "OK".
3) Then, in the black DOS window, type "ping www.auctionsniper.com" and press the "Enter" key

Hi Mike,

Sorry for my delay in reply but I am getting ready for a trip overseas. Here is what I got from the ping:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.RUSSELL>ping www.auctionsniper.com

Pinging www.auctionsniper.com [65.49.8.141] with 32 bytes of data:

Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 65.49.8.141:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

Appears unsuccesful, hope this helps.

I am new to auctionsniper.com having been recommended by a friend.

My Ebay watches will not import. when I ping www.auctionsniper.com I get exactly the same as Dukeleto. My experienced friend cannot work the account for me either.. it goes through the process of importing but remains blank.

He has checked the accoutn and password match with ebay and everything seems in accordance. Please help

I have two laptops at home, both working off the same wireless network. also a desktop wired direct to the router.
One laptop and the desktop do exactly as you have described. They are both running different versions of XP.
But when i tried the laptop with Vista on board.... Sniper works just fine.

The Vista machine is new and hasn't had a chance to be loaded up with extra crap. Maybe its virginal nature has protected it from whatever affects portion of sniper's website.
