I placed a sniper for an item in Germany. I know that AS will place a bid in their currency, but does it do it in their time also? I placed a 300 euro max bid on a very rare book. The auction has ended at 202 euros, but my snipe says it is still in the "ready" mode. What exactly did I do wrong? I really wanted this book.

Usually there are no problem for bidding outside your country ... except today where Auction Sniper is 'out of order' ...
Nothing goes ... and our bids are not accepted by eBay ...
It's exactly the same for me, I lost few auctions today by the fault of the dysfonction of AS ...
I'm sorry but your sniped failed and you will not buy your book, even your offer is higher than the final selling price ...

JLR, if I find an item on another country's ebay (say ebay.dk for germany) I can load it into auctionsniper and it will automatically fire at the correct time in the auction's home time zone.

Maybe the error you experienced is related to the general downtime issues?
