I recently sniped and won two items from the same seller. I e-mailed the seller to get the combined shipping charge from them, and I was then going to pay them from a direct bank transfer from my Paypal account. I go to click on the Pay Now button and the system usually combines all the auctions you've won from the same seller and lists them for you on the same page. Well, today it won't let me do that. I keep getting the same error message:
"Feature temporarily unavailable. Unable to combine purchases. You are not currently signed in as the buyer for the selected items."

What the hell? I'm signed in under my username and I'm obviously the same user who won the items. Why won't it let me pay for the items? Anybody know why it could be doing this? It's driving me nuts!

My guess is eBay is working on something. Drop your seller a note saying so, and that you'll try again this evening. If they are still having trouble tonight, you can still go directly to PayPal and make the payment as long as you know the totals. Or pay the total on one auction only. Just add in the notes that payment is for both auctions and give the numbers.

Thanks for the reply, Puppy. Actually I figured out how to pay through Paypal instead of through the Ebay Pay Now button. I don't usually have many problems with Ebay, so this was a frustrating surprise. I was finally able to make payment to the seller, but I wondering why that weird error message kept popping up. Hope it doesn't happen again any time soon. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks, but the ones I was pointing at was more of a discussion board. Q&A type thing. Found it once, and then started getting 'Proxy Error Request Denied'. (what ever that means). Even right at eBay.

Anyway, seems this has been intermittently going on for at least a week. Their advice was to do as Sylvia did and go to paypal.

My post in General has them all listed so maybe she will see it and bookmark it in her favorites!
