Hi All,
An ebay seller has a number of identical items each finishing at precisely the same time ( to the second).
If I set up a bid group of snipes on several of thses items, it there a risk that I will end up buying more than I set up in the bidgroup?

TIA

Robert

You won't win more than one, but it still won't work as planed.

For bid groups, after the first bid, AS must verify a loss before bidding on the next item. AS can't do that till after the auction ends. Since they all end at the same time it's to late to bid on another. You may win the one AS picks to bid on, but you may as well pick one yourself and set up a regular snipe on it. If you do that, remember you can't cancel or edit a snipe in the last 2-3 minutes of the auction, but you can enter one. (you can pick the cheapest, but don't wait to long)

Bid groups work great, but the auctions need to be spread out and not end at the same times. They may work with less, but I like to have at least 30 seconds between end times and use a 5-7 second lead time.
