A few days ago, I put in a "snipe" on an Ebay auction for $36.50. The auction closed and I see NO bid by me in the bidding history and my snipe history says that my bid was too low, even though the winning bidder won the auction for a couple bucks less than my max bid. What gives?

ebay bid increment problem. At $35.99, you would have had to place a minimum bid of $36.99 to get on the bid history.
