I do not remember how to find the link for recommending others to join, so you can earn 3 credits. Where is that info now, or has it gone away?

I refer people to auction sniper, by just e-mailing the bidders that lost to me at an auction. I give them the site address, & I tell them that I'd like to help them win their next auction bid. I don't even ask them to use my ID as the person who refered them (when AS asks) they (the people) usually place my name in as the referal, anyway.
The line of html that AS provides in that Help link is great! You can just copy it, slap it in an e-mail, and it has your AS username already in it, so if the person signs up from the link they automatically credit you.
I hate being pushy, so I like to write my own rather diffident and self-conscious text to go along with it Using the html line, there's no added text I didn't put there myself. It's not fancy, but it works!

Cobraindy, it looks as though we've got two "Steves" on AS now.
Do I get credited for people I refer to AuctionSniper? Yes! When someone signs up, they can add your name or email address in the 'referral' box. If this name/email matches anyone on our system, an email is AUTOMATICALLY sent to you saying you have gotten 3 free snipes, and your account is credited. Please give this a day or so to be updated. If you still don’t see them, you can email support.auctionsniper.com and we will manually add them. Be sure to include the username of the person who referred you.
Thanks Rick. I put up the links on my web site a couple years ago which worked well. But after a couple months I did'nt receive anymore referals. I see the link is now different.
I will modify my refer links to reflect my email rather than my ebay handle as in the old links.
BTW I just refered "verycollectible" who signed up yesturday. Regards Ed
Thanks for taking the time to thank me. It's STILL nice to actually help a forum member, instead of burning up posts, and forum space, on things that don't pertain to member questions.
