despite choosing searches where items are located in the UK I am emailed searches with items from around the world - is there a bug in this option?

A bug..that might be..they have had many problems with the searches. Send your problem to http://support.auctionsniper.com/

Be aware, I logged a bug or two on the Searches (UK searches don't work) and nothing happened. AS's staff seem to think all is well (they work for them but they are in the USA) so don't hold your breath. Eventually they closed the support calls without resolving the issues.
