Am I the only one or is auctionsniper.com having trouble? I had two or three snipes pending and when I didn't get notices I tried to sign on to check on them only the site won't come up. I am hoping it is down for maintenance.
In my case, it Verizon Fios with the problem, apparently the Verizon network can't find the auctionsniper site....but it's not a DNS prob, must be a routing problem.
I also cannot get it to come up. I'm on Frontier DSL.
Not the first time in the last few months this has happened - really is making me lose interest in using this service - the first 5 years I used it I didn't encounter these problems. A/S Support - what goes on?
I've also been unable to access AS (using IE and having cleared cookies/cache & added to trust site, re-booted and crossed fingers). Like knm2008 I've been on AS for 5+ years and getting fed up of non existent service in the last few months. Have now investigated ---. I put ALL my eBay bids on via AS (probably 20 a day). Cannot afford to mucked about with. AS are potentially going to lose plenty of clients like an ailing bank.

AS has been hinky for several days now. I tried to load some history and couldn't access the site. I have tried from a PC and a Mac, and used different browsers. NG. Any thoughts?
Me too. Auction Sniper must work every day and all the time, no fail. One slip and confidence is lost permanently. Right now I have several essential bids to place, but I won't risk AS. Can't get into it anyway. Sorry guys, poor service = lost business.
Thanks for letting us know about this. All of our web servers have been up and running during while all of these posts have been made, so it seems like there are most likely some network issues that are preventing users in certain locations or who are using certain ISP's from accessing the Auction Sniper website.
A few customers who have reported being unable to access our site have been able to resolve the problem by clearing their caches and/or restarting their machines so, if you are still experiencing this problem, it may be a good idea to try those measures.
I'm going to check with our IT team to see if they have any other ideas what users who are still experiencing this problem might be able to do to be able to access the Auction Sniper website once again and I'll post again to this thread when I hear back from them.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Open the www.auctionsniper.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want. Click the Back button to try another link. Problem: Connection timed out
How is it if our server is at fault we are able to enter comments here but not be able to access my snipes makes no sense except you AS have the problem
Update - I just finished speaking with our IT team and they found an issue that may be causing the requests of some users trying to access the Auction Sniper website to time out, which could lead to a message stating the browser cannot find the page being generated when you try to load the site.
We're currently working on implementing a solution to that issue and I'll post again to this thread when I have additional information on the topic to share. Thanks for understanding!
Hello again fellow sufferers, I agree with Patricia in her earlier posts. I have been able/not able to log in SEVERAL times today. And yes I cleared my cache/cookies etc etc, in fact I clear them in my sleep I do it so often. Am thinking about becoming a shoe repairer as I wouldn't have to re-boot so much. Funny how it has just started to be so bad in the last few weeks. Q. to Sniper Mike D.: Could this have anything to do with eBay's Java update? I note your "Thanks for understanding!"...??? Alas that doesn't predate my lost bids. A few dozen free Snipes might ease my "understanding"!!
Update - I just heard back from our IT department regarding this matter and it sounds like it will be about 1-2 hours before we can implement a fix for the problem that we believe is preventing some users from being able to access the Auction Sniper website. I'll be sure to let you all know when that fix is in place.
This issue should not prevent snipes that are already scheduled from being placed. Therefore, if you have snipes that are scheduled to be placed in your account and you cannot access the Auction Sniper website, those snipes should still be placed successfully.
On the other hand, if you have snipes in your account you would like to cancel but you cannot access your account, changing your eBay password would prevent us from being able to place those bids on your behalf.
I will post further updates on this situation to this thread as additional information becomes available.
