I had 3 items in a bid group and set the desired quantity at 1 for the bid group. Two of the 3 auctions ended within a few hours of each other today, and I won one of those.

The third auction ends in about 2 days and that item is still showing up in my bid group even though I've gotten the 1 desired item.

Should I delete the remaining item? Will it be deleted automatically? Why is it still there?

Also, I don't see the win listed on the "my wins" page and I did not get any email or pager notification from the site that the snipe went through -- I only know because I checked on eBay directly.

YES, by all means delete your other bids!

This is a really dangerous bug I have been dealing with today. I had a whole slew of snipes set to go on a bid group for a Gamecube game (ideal for bid groups because there are often so many auctions for the identical item).

I won one of the auctions this evening, but the status listed on the "My Snipes" page was listed as (and still is) "Unknown" (in green lettering!).

When I checked the bid group, AS was there waiting and "ready" all set to keep bidding on all the rest of the auctions! Obviously, the software did not cancel the rest of the snipes because it (for whatever reason) cannot determine that I already won the item.

If I had not caught this, I could have (theoretically) ended up with 23 copies of "Resident Evil"!! I mean I enjoy a good video game but I'm not that addicted!

All the auctions were slated to end tonight or early tomorrow. I deleted the rest of the group immediately (6 minutes before the next auction was set to end, thank the maker I decided to check up on some email).

PLEASE add this bug to your long list of fixes! I saw on an earlier post that the "unknown" status bug was to be fixed tomorrow... this might or might not fix the bid group bug; I just wanted to make sure everyone knows what's going on.

Also, as for the cell phone/pager notifications, I put a post about this LAST weekend and was told that this was to be looked into last week on Monday or Tuesday.

It obviously is still not working, please don't forget to get this VERY important feature up and running!! I still have not received one single message since this whole debacle started.

Our software will not bid on any items if any of the other items are "unknown"

The system is working 100% correctly. We dont cancel them until you win. However we wont bid while there is unknowns.

The idea is that there should never be unknowns. When there are programmers look into them, fix them, and then bidding on the rest of the bid group continues.

All behind the scenes without your need to worry.

The system was very carefully created to never win multiple items, ever. And as far as I know it never has.
