I had my auction sniper set for a bid and was watching the item on ebay the last 15 mins. The price for the item had gone past my bid but auction sniper never notified me that I was outbid! I got an email at the end of the auction saying You were outbid! duh!!! why didnt you notify me earlier? Is this how auction sniper works?

I didnt know there was a support staff that I could notify about a problem in the last 15 mins of an auction..

You seem to have missed the point of AS - it's there to snipe on your behalf in a manner that helps avoid giving the opposition time to outbid you.
You obviously set your maximum and it was 'beaten' before the end of the auction.
If you are saying that you'd up your max if you'd known then it wasn't really your max!
And if you were online to receive emails with 15 mins to go then why not monitor the auction yourself? You could have upped your max (pedants hate that!) in that time and maybe won!
