I am trying to snipe a item on ebay. I put in the the item number and my max bid and it created two snipes. Why did that happend and how do I stop it. Yes I'm new.

That happens to me too sometimes. Perhaps they will look into the reason for it. In the meantime, just cancel one of your two identical snipes, and the remaining one will work fine.

Duplicate snipes will only occur when you click the "Add" button more than once. I have added a new feature that will only let you click it once.

Hi Adam. That's what I thought at first too, and maybe you are right, but this has happened to me a couple of times now when using the search-and-snipe feature (last night I was surprised to find 3 copies of a single snipe in my folder.) I kn ow I didn't physically hit the button for that snipe three times! It's my impression that it has something to do with moving between or perhaps refreshing windows. Each time I use search 'n snipe, it creates a separate new snipe window and a new folder window. They can add up fast! I end up flipping between these to figure out which is which, and I have a sense that's when the double snipe entries get created.
Hopefully your fix will prevent it happening in any case. Thanks.

A further update on the duplicate snipes...
This evening I created a snipe for an item using the "Snipe It Now" feature, closed all the AS windows except the NEW "My Snipes" window, and continued browsing ebay. I didn't create any more snipes. As I was just ready to quit, I clicked to the AS window, which showed the single snipe I had added. I refreshed the window, which required a data repost. Upon refreshing, the snipe had been duplicated.
I think at least sometimes, reposting data to the AS window that appears after the snipe was successfully added re-creates the same snipe in the list.
