Why is there a time lag with ebay of as mich as 30 seconds?

Last I heard, it was controlled by your computer's clock. If not, then:
http://support.auctionsniper.com/ p.s. Won't impact when the snipe is placed. AS uses ebay's clock to determine that. |

That'll be the time on the My Snipes page - an annoying bit of code put in to make AS look 'interactive' when it clearly, as the original poster shows, ain't!
