All, All my snipes for the next 6 days have been set so they will be submitted as if there is only 1 day to go. 12 have already been submitted 5 days early.
I have had 10 placed today - DAYS too early. 45 further snipes for the week ahead have the finish date changed to TODAY !! Reported this ti Support and they gave a link to an answer claiming "problem resolved". NOT TRUE Is this an April Fools joke- if so A VERY EXPENSIVE ONE !!
I too, have been victimized by this. We'll see how much it costs me... I went in and cancelled all of my snipes and then redid them and this seems to have rectified the situation. But I'll keep checking my snipes like I never have before. I hope they take out the "Ultra Reliability" claim on the home page. It isn't true. I could end up spending a lot on this snafu, maybe more than I have ever sent to Auction Sniper for their services...
I had one placed 5 days early. And I had 7 others I was able to cancel, probably because they were not going to bid until later today, but all were marked for bidding today! Even the ones a week out. This is an awful mess
So where is the grovelling apology from AS? Why are we being met with such a deafening silence? Or did they all attend the e-Bay School of Business Practise?
I was pretty surprised when I got an email from ebay.de stating that my bid was currently the winning one - with more than 3 days to go! I have taken back the bid and hope the seller won´t go crazy over this - I really want that item! AS hopefully realizes this is more than a mere "inconvenience" - this "inconvenience" might cost me more than 200 Euro!
OUCH! Is there an April Fool's bug in the system or what? A disgruntled employee with a malevolent sense of humor perhaps? I too got a message from ebay that a bid was placed, a day early. Checked auctionsniper and sure enough, all snipes had been reset to go off on April 1. Managed to change ONE snipe before getting the dreaded "Failure to connect" screen. I'd cancel the rest of my snipes if I could and replace them tomorrow. Looks like only solution is to change ebay password until things are fixed. Bummer.
That is correct, cancelling and replacing the snipe worked for me on one snipe. Then the site went down and I'm still not able to access it to fix the rest. Unless I stay here all day waiting for the site to come up, the only thing to do to be safe is change password on ebay to prevent additional accidental sniping incidents.
