I'm confused and new to this..So, did I win or lose? What happened?

If ebay (auction listing) says someone else won - you lost. Post link to auction.

"User ID kept private" - so if you bid $381 or more then you won (unless AS didn't bid for you) - have you heard from eBay or looked in your 'my Ebay' to see what's there? Also, in the email from AS there's a link that shows the response from eBay to the snipe - take a look at that...

Looks like you won to me since you bid $381 and nobody else bid $381.

Just had this happen to me too. Turns out it was a phishing scam. Check the email address against the sellers (mine was different) and I ran a check on the ebay forums and found out that the email was linked to scams. Please report to ebay security if you are phished!
