if i put shorter lead on my snipe (say only 1 second) will that have less of a chance of following through? Confused

I personally think you would have a good chance it would not get placed! Rick is right. What matters is you bid the most you want to spend. The highest bidder wins!

Just remember to bid the max you will pay for the gizmo. That is the amount that if someone bids 1.00 more and wins you can shrug it off with..they paid too much. Also remember, unless it is a hand made, one of a kind; there will be another one sooner or later. Take some time to read the help area on Bid Groups. They make losing to someone with fuller pockets more palatable. Anyhoooo best of luch.

I do not agree with this at all. I personally regret many mistakes I have made in my life! How could you not?
