I have entered 3 snipes in the past couple of minutes and got this message on all 3.

hello sleddogs51 i'm getting the same("Could not find the item."),need to get a few snipes sorted before going to work.not had this problem before.has anybody any ideas?

I've gotten the same and have also filed a report. STINKS my auction ends in 2 hours!!

It's now beem 3 hours and it's still not fixed.
And worse no response! This is B.S.

I've just logged a fault for exactly the same reason. Every other sniping site I have tried refuses to accept snipes as well.

Hi Community,

We are aware that attempts to add snipes are currently failing, and that the "Could Not Find Item" message is being returned instead. Our engineering department is currently in the process of investigating this issue and we will have it resolved as soon as possible.

I will post again to this thread, as well as response to anyone who has filed a support request regarding this matter, once I have verified the problem has been resolved. Thank you for understanding.

A RELIEF TO KNOW THAT SELLERS ARE NOT BLOCKING AUCTION SNIPER BIDS! THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE!!

I wonder why it took this long to fix the issue? eBay maintenance (during which this was broken) was around 1-2am PDT I assume. The fix was apparently rolled out at 1 PM. This is 12 hours window or so.
