AS Reports for 2 items ending 2-15-04 at 18:45:00 PST stated in Status Summary "Not in time". Both snipes were set at least 10 minutes before auction closing times. Why weren't they placed?

Not in time = AS placed your bid, but was not received and processed by eBay in time.

Sunday evenings (especially ending on exact quarter hours) are very busy. For auctions ending like yours I suggest you increase your lead time to 20-30 seconds.

AS also attempts to automatically increase lead times during heavy traffic, but sometimes it's just not enough.

It's just a conciliation prize, but >> Click Here <<

Hi. Welcome. What was that set time? 10 minutes or 10 Secornds. 10 minutes would be too long ahead. I think there is a limit of about 2 minutes ahead. And 10 seconds on a Sunday PM on the quarter hours is a wee bit too short. Good Luck. Wink

Hi Shop,

I think they meant they entered snipe at 10 minutes till auction end, and didn't say what lead time they put in.

Yes 120 seconds is the max lead time.
