I've tried to log into my account several times and it keeps telling me its the wrong password and user name and I know it's not. Why can't I log in. I logged in here to write this message and it was accepted. Can someone please help me.

I just signed on with no problem. Are you sure you are using your ebay user name & password. You can change them by going to Modify Account on your My Snipe page and change it there. Be sure to go to the bottom & click update.

Top Tip (with apologies to www.viz.co.uk)
Do not use the same ID (and password) on the forum as you use on AS and eBay. Unless you don't mind losing your anonimity! (hard to say, even when sober!)

Jake, not in the forum! You can use whatever you want here. It is, as R2 said, not a good idea to use the same screen name here as your Ebay ID. I personally had someone stalk me from here and changed mine!

Sometimes, if you will shut your computer down and reload, this will fix the login problem. Always make sure you are not only using the correct name and password, but the correct case. And...

I just tried again this morning and I still can't get into my account. I am using my same name and password as my Ebay account.I used my Sniper just last week and had no problem logging in. I've wrote to them several times but have never gotten a reply.I will try and see if I can modify my account but I don't see how I can do that if I can't even get into my account.

I assume you have tried to relog into Ebay? Sometimes if someone is trying to mess with your Ebay account, they will lock it.

Might give this a try
To confirm ID and Password, go to eBay and Click on 'Watch this item'.
(a new item would be best)
Come back to AS and:
Click 'My Snipes'
Click 'Import Wizard'

If your watched item shows up, you should be set to go.

Yes I just now logged into my Ebay account and it worked perfectly. I just don't know what else to try.

When you click on "My Snipes" you have to log in before you can do anything. It won't let me log on to update my account or view my account. It just keeps coming up with "Username and password do not match". I've tried retyping in both user name and password and nothing works.
Any other suggestions? I need help badly

I just went in and reregister using all the same information and it went right through as though I was never in the data base to begin with. I sure am starting to wonder how SAFE my information is here. And where all the information is that I filled out back in August when I first joined here. I'd sure like to know if this has happened to anyone else. I'm surely not as confident in using this service for security reasons.Plus I think I still had money in my old account that I had transferred from Pay Pal. Now that is gone too. Plus I had signed up 2 people for this service which gave me 6 free snipes and that also is gone. I sure am questioning HOW SAFE this is.

You mentioned it's been a while since you signed up. I don't suppose you have changed your ID and password at eBay since then and forgot to change it at AS? Have you filed a support case? You can do that at:

If it's any comfort, I've never heard of this happening before. You stated you had transferred money to your account using PayPal, so the transaction should be easy to prove. Just go into your PayPal account and provide AS with the transaction ID #. You should also be able to get any free snipes back as credit for referrals. Be patient, it may take several days for them to figure out how and what happened.

Puppy, no I haven't changed a thing at Ebay. I still have the same everything since I joined several years ago.
My Pay Pal account does show where I transferred the money so I do have proof of that.
Yes I already filed a case with them but never heard anything back. I have a case number but it doesn't do me any good if they don't answer me. I wrote them a few weeks back also stating that I had signed up a friend but hadn't received my free snipes and AGAIN I never heard a word from them and my friend has use Sniper a few times already so I know she signed up and also I know she signed up using me as a referral.
Thanks so much for trying to help. Is what's puzzling and scarey is the fact that I could sign up all over again using the same information as I did when I first signed up. Usually if you sign up somewhere and you fill out all the information then try signing up again with that SAME info....it will tell you that userID and password are already taken. Well here it didn't say that. It's just like I was never is their data base.

Yes, same here. In fact, I think the only way to sign up again is to use a different valid eBay ID and also a different email address.

Mrs. M, what happened to get you upset? Was it having to do with TOTALLY losing your account? What kind of changes did they make? Guess I didn't keep up with their news. I know I'm upset about all this and I'm not getting any response from them.

That is a confused sign, not upset! I normally don't get too upset over things here. It all seems to work out in time and it certainly isn't the end of the world, for certain! Life is much too short for that.

Also, I do know that they seldom work on the weekends there, so it does not surprise me that you have not gotten an email response yet.

Mrs. M, you are so right. Life is just to short to lose any sleep over this. It's just frustrating sometimes.
