On eBay Item #2992034996, I had a lead time of 10 seconds. I lost the auction (with a bid high enough to have won it) because it was "Not in Time". The item was in Germany, & I have had problems in the past using a 5-second lead time. I was advised by this Board to up it to 10 seconds. It closed at 8 a.m. German time. Should I go to 15 seconds on European items now? I have been winning with a 10-second lead time for the last several months on European items.
Randy, I don't know what time that is, but let me put it in prospective in PST, which is what AS and Ebay run on. If it is during the PST Sunday PM prime time between 5 and 8:30, use around 23 sec., on the hour, half , or quarter, use around 18, during normal times, 8 seconds. Doesn't matter where you are, we are bidding PST. Hope this helps! (of course, this is my opinion)

Randy, just curious--how do you know your bid was enough to have won the item?
