AS not responding to Sign In AGAIN !!! Is site down AGAIN ??? THIRD major technical problem in 5 days ??? Can anyone recommend a RELIABLE sniping site ?
indeed. i have several bids placed today totalling four figures in value via Auction Sniper, with various interdependencies where I needd to cancel snipes should earlier ones be successful.
Now AS isdown and I don't know if ALL the bids will be placed or not. If they are and they all win, I'll be a bit stuffed. Sily me for expecting the site to be actually WORKING today so i can use it. I certainly won't be using it again.

A possible work-around is to change your ebay password. That will prevent AS from placing your snipes. Grant it, it's a crappy way to go, but it might be better than winning unnecessary auctions.
p.s. The last I heard, AS wasn't able to place snipes and they were recommending doing manual bids/snipes, so that above suggestion is probably a waste.

Instead of using a link to Google you "should" indicate a RELIABLE sniper.... I just lost an item I was looking for a long time because you have not advised your Customers the site was down!

My mistake. It didn’t occur to me that someone that was familiar with Google would be lame enough to ask for a competitive service using AS’ resources. I was obviously wrong – twice! My apologies.

Yea, run with it. That path seems to be working for you...
I think the google link was more help than was deserved.

You should subscribe to the "News and Updates" forum with immediate email notification - you will get notified as soon as the admins post any system outage or return messages.
Don't blame them because you can't take advantage of the available technology...
Update - I am pleased to report that the issue mentioned in this thread has just been resolved, so the Auction Sniper website and services are available once again. We're currently planning on moving our system to a new colocation next Tuesday in order to minimize the chances of this happening again, and I'll post a thread in the "News" section when I have more details on that move. Your patience and understanding have been appreciated during this difficult time.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer support team by completing the web form on the following page: http://support.auctionsniper.com/
This is the second time I have lost items as a result of failures.
You can generate a win notification why could you not do the same for a problem notification?
At least then those of us that can bid manually will know there is a problem. How on earth are we to know there is a problem if there is no notification?!?!
Rick, changing eBay password is a grand tip that I'll certainly remember should someone somewhere in the US accidentally pull the plug on the AS server again. Thanks.
Zoot it might be nice if when we join to be told join the customer forum then you will be told if outages are going to happen. Why can customer services not issue an email to subscribers?
