Hi, You left out the step I'm getting stuck on. After My Snipes/Manage Bid Groups, how do I get into the existing bid group I want to add the description to?
When you go into Manage Bidgroups and the bidgroup folders appear, look to the right of the folders. There is a very small field next to each folder that says UPDATE or DELETE. Click on UPDATE and you can then enter the notes under description.
Can’t get it to change the Folder Description. On my computer, “update” only allows changing “color” and “wins”. When I click on “update”, “Your folder has been updated” is displayed but no input-capable field titled “notes” or “description” is provided to allow modification. I checked “Modify Account” in hopes of some setting, but didn’t find anything. I tried with/without snipes in a folder, new/old folder, bid group/non-bid group folder – all no go.
Has anyone sorted out a solution to this problem? So that one can modify the description of a Bidgroup once it has been created? It would be great to be able to alter the "description" as the contents are altered.
The reason it would be useful is because one might discover additional items (whose descriptions you'd like to add, for your own reference), which would be part of a single bidgroup, i.e., where you'd still only like to purchase *one* of the items, and so you'd rather not create a *new* bidgroup and then copy in the items from the old bidgroup and delete the old one thereafter.
Not sure I understand why you don't just create a NEW bidgroup to put the new "altered" contents in??
