I am located in Australia, so use the Australian version of Ebay - www.ebay.com.au

Auction sniper does not seem to recognise my account (yes the username & password is correct). I have tried clicking on the Aussie flag at the top of Auction Sniper (made no difference).

Searches from within auction sniper only seem to retrieve US auction listings, not Australian auction listings.

Is Auction sniper compatible with ebay.com.au?

Yes - snipes all ebay sites. Would recommend you use ebay searches and not AS.

When adding a new snipe, or when AS places the snipe, or on some other page?

If AS isn't placing a snipe because of invalid user id or password, this might be the cause:

When I was joining auction sniper & it asked if you wanted to retrieve my name & address details (rather than fill in manually) It came up with an error that 'cannot import, check username & password' or similar.

Also, if I try to 'Import Snipes' nothing is imported.

My password is OK, not too weak.

I tried clicking on the 'Verify' link & it says that it is connecting OK, but still wont import any items I am watching, so not sure if it is OK or not.

I got the search results to retrieve Australian searches by using the Advanced function, but only displays results in US dollars. Can the currency setting be changed?

The advanced searches are notoriously bad on AS - do not bother using them. For all your other problems, click on the Help tab and log a support call...

I did lodge a support ticket yesterday, & some of the issues have been resolved.

I am in Australia also and have this message displayed at the top of "MySnipes" page.:

AuctionSniper Notification!


We were unable to verify your eBay username and/or password.
Please check your account preferences to make sure they are correct.

if i click on the verify link down the bottom of the page it tells me my login is verified and i have checked the preferences and everything is correct, yet this message will not go away.
