I have been a very happy Aussie user of Auction Sniper for around 4 years. Happy to say I have never had a technical issue and AS has never let me downSmile

Today, I received an email from AS saying my bid was too low for and Ebay Auction in the US - women's clothing. My problem is, that I never requested a snipe, I have never viewed the skirt and I didn't notice this as a scheduled snipe when I logged in yesterday.

I have checked the item number against snipes that I have placed recently and it is not remotely close to any I have used so I doubt it is a typo - besides, I cut and paste my item numbers from Ebay to AS.

Is anyone aware of an technical glitch?? To be on the safe side I have changed my Ebay and AS passwords - I did check the Verify link that says everything is in order, but when I attempted to post this discussion my new password is not working for the forums.

I am a little concerned if my new password is not going to work for the forums that my AS scheduled for tomorrow will fail.

BTW - I did not share my ebay details.

Unrelated servers. That’s why the password for the forum can be different than your sniping/eBay password/ID.

In the lower right corner of My Snipes page you’ll see the following:
Note: Click the Verify link to make sure Auctionsniper has your proper eBay information to place your snipes.

Thanks Rick I didn't realise they were unrelated servers.

I put a test snipe on an inexpensive item and it worked fine with my new password.

Incidentally - when I clicked the Verify button - I intentionally tested this with an incorrect password and I got the message to say that everything was in order.

Crikey - click on the help Tab and log a support call - that's a SERIOUS problem!
