I am trying to enter a snipe and I keep getting the above response. The item I am interested in is currently bid at £10.00. I have tried to arrange snipes at 12.01,£12.01, 12.99, and £12.99. I have had no problems before. Why are these amounts invalid?

Hopefully someone will come in soon from the UK that might see something. I don't, sorry! Have you clicked the update to make sure you are bidding enough?

Try clicking on the as there just might be something wrong/under development on the UK side.

As for how to enter the amount, no need for the currency symbol, just enter pounds and pence eg. 12.34

If it's still broken then log a support call under the HELP tab at the top of the page.

I get this one all the time to.
Unless you want to bid an exact amount - eg . 1 , 2 , 100 and no pennies.
You could cancel the snipe , and then use your "snipe it now" button to add it again , while entering the amount you want.

I had the same problem bidding in pounds. I finally noticed that the currency drop down menu had changed to yen. I chnaged it back to pounds and entered my snipe without any more hitches.
