Actually, I am saving my Canadian money for my next trip to Toronto; although I seriously suspect that the $3.00CDN that I have will not go very far! Big Grin

Nope. $3 doesn't get you much. It's about equal to USD$2.40 these days. If you have it in coins, that's OK, but if that $3 is in paper money, the $1 and $2 notes have long been out of circulation. They are still legal tender, but many people might not accept them. (I'd be interested in them though)!

I am not even sure where they are; most likely in the same envelope with some currency from Greece, the Phillipines, Japan, and a few scattered bills that I've managed to find over the years. If that's where they are, then it will be hopeless; their current location has me flummoxed.

When I was younger I did a EuroTrain trip around Europe and had to have little envelopes for all the different currencies. Now we have the Euro - so much easier!

Stumbled across a $2 CDN bill after reading this thread. Red background from 1954. Any idea if this is worth anything other than face value?
