For the longest time I've been looking for tapes that have the original programs on them, off of the tv, like Family Ties, Facts of Life, and others, WITH the original commercials. I have a couple old tapes that were in a collection, but I want more. If anyone has old tapes from between 1980 (I believe vcr's were around then)-1993, please let me know. Thanks!
Hokey Pokey--As I mentioned on 10/10, I have tapes--I listed Hill St. Blues and other programs; since I recorded them continuously as they appeared on TV on a tape, they also contain the original commercials. They're in excellent condition since I was lying around at home at the time with a broken leg recording them and never subsequently viewed them until now. If you're interested, I can see what other tapes I have.
I always liked the Sony Trinitron advert which featured a Sony TV and a sofa as fixed objects with a baby growing up, getting married etc etc and then getting old and then disappearing leaving just a pair of slippers, all to an interesting beat! Not seen it since!
